He managed the launch of the first ever on-line domestic energy business and worked with a multiple of agencies on banking and other financial web site developments. As one of the Digital Development Unit’s e-business advisors he has considerable experience in helping small and medium sized businesses to make their first steps in building a web site.

Ecompli is a fast growing compliance support agency, helping Mortgage and General Insurance Advisors throughout the UK to operate within the Financial Services Authority guidelines. Suzanne Gibson will take us through their experience of developing their very successful web site, from where to start to on-going management.

Delegates will receive an NCFE Level 2 certificate in Compliant Sales - Payment Protection Insurance, on completion of the course. This will demonstrate how to comply and ensure your sales process is complaint.

Unit 1 – The FSA compliance framework

  • Apply advice process

Unit 2 – Effective sales within the framework

  • Analyse the sales process
  • Identify current techniques
  • Use appropriate follow up documentation

FREE Breakfast Seminar ‘Internet Marketing – Building a Successful Web Business’ - Limited Places Available

Earlier this year Suzanne Gibson (the Regulatory Compliance Consultant from Ecompli) provided a presentation at a Pennine Lancashire Business Net event to local businesses covering the success of Ecompli’s web presence and how they had benefited from the support that they had received from the Digital Development Unit (DDU) in Blackburn.

Another similar e-business breakfast event is being held in Burnley on the 27th November 2008 and it is again being hosted by Pennine Lancashire Business Net under the “No Limits” brand. It is free to attend and is specifically designed for Owners, Directors and Senior Managers of businesses. It is also relevant to webmasters and marketing managers who influence online marketing strategies.

This powerful seminar will give businesses all the tools, techniques and approaches to equip them for a successful online future.
