Financial Services GDPR Guidance

GDPR came into effect from the 25th May 2018.  As such, we spent over 150 hours reading, delivering training and producing documents that Brokers could easily implement into their business.

Our GDPR Manual is a wealth of information, confirming the different legal basis and which ones apply to Brokers all the way through to how data should be held.  As Brokers will generally use the legitimate interest legal basis to hold client data, as they have a legitimate reason to hold it, we produced a Legitimate Interest Assessment that supports why this legal basis is preferred.

We also produced a Privacy Notice that is specifically designed for Mortgage and Insurance Brokers which can easily be personalised and implemented within minutes of downloading.

GDPR Manual & Confirmation Form

This manual specifically focuses on the rules relating to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the requirement for privacy relating to customers data held on file.  It includes detailed guidance on the principles, the lawful basis in which firms should use in order to process personal data along with a procedure that regulated firms should follow. The manual also includes guidance on customers individual rights, data received from a third party and privacy notice.

In this bundle you will also receive a Confirmation Form that individuals within the firm can sign and date to confirm they have read and understood the manual.  This can then be counted towards their CPD and evidence their understanding of GDPR.
